Service update - 23 June 2021
[Updated 13 July.] As of the afternoon of Wednesday 23 June, we're again introducing some significant practical changes in the AMC's operations to allow for our staff to work remotely as Covid-19 related restrictions are tightened in the Greater Sydney area.
Our office at the APRA AMCOS building in Sydney will be closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and all business will operate via email and through the website. The AMC's staff will continue to be there to serve you and answer your questions.
We are fortunate that the AMC's business has for years operated largely in the digital domain, with the main part of our collection digitised and many products being already delivered digitally to our sales and library customers - this is a significant asset during the weeks ahead, as is our free online learning portal ECHO.
See below about changes to do with the various aspects of our operations.
Phone and email traffic
Our customers are not able to reach us over the phone at this time. Please make a note of the email addresses below - we're looking forward to connecting with you.
Sales and production
We are not able to produce physical scores and parts, or education resources, for sale, due to our production facilities being inaccessible to us. We are unable to fullfil new hires of orchestral parts.
Most third-party supplier arrangements - website orders that are shipped directly from external CD or sheet music publishers to our customers - are currently active.. This may change in the near future, and for overseas products delays can be expected. Where the price of a CD, score or publication is no longer visible on the website, we can not sell the product at the present time.
We will inform you promptly as new information comes available about any current orders. Meanwhile please email firstname.lastname@example.org about any questions or sales enquiries.
The AMC's Digital Library is a great asset at a time like this - it is available for members around the clock, seven days a week (watch a digiloan tutorial on Youtube). If you need your membership renewed, please email us on email@example.com
AMC's Library staff will be available by email. In some cases we can also add new scores in the digital library where we have a digital master of the work in question - please send us email.
We have limited access to our physical collection (scores and books) for postal loans, please allow for significant delays. We aren't mailing out CDs at this time.

AMC's Represented, Associate and Pedagogical artists are encouraged to make the most of the Contribute portal to submit their digital scores, mp3 files, work information and updated biographies. The AMC's staff will be available, over email, to advise and assist. It is a good time to catch up on lodging works! The start page has links to login instructions, FAQ and further tips and tricks.

There will be no outgoing mail from the AMC. Membership renewals documents and other correspondence will be sent over email.
Please note that with outgoing orders, there are some long delays beyond our control particularly with international mail. Please refer to the Australia Post website for latest domestic mail updates and international mail updates.
