Service update: AMC's operations from July 2020

We are glad to report that the AMC has now regained limited access to our printing facilities, with the APRA AMCOS building in Sydney gradually re-opening after the shutdown. Sheet music orders are being processed on a 'first come, first served' basis. It might take longer than our usual 2-5 business days before we can post your sheet music order, but we are processing orders as soon as we can. Please contact us if you have an enquiry about any particular titles.

We also have limited access to our library collection and are able to post loans to AMC members. These will sometimes take longer to get in the post than before. Please contact us if you have any questions about perusal loans. (But don't forget that membership entitles you to 30 digital loans from the Digital Score Library per calendar month!)

For customers and any of our community affected by the pandemic, lockdowns and self-isolation, we extend our warmest sympathies and any practical support we can offer. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if there's any way that we can help.

With most of our staff still working remotely, our business is operating via email and through the website. We are able to access phone messages only once or twice a week.

We are fortunate that the AMC's business has for years operated largely in the digital domain, with the main part of our collection digitised and many products being already delivered digitally to our sales and library customers - this is a significant asset during this time, as is our free online learning portal Echo. If you're a music educator teaching remotely, or a student researching Australian music, Echo's resources are a good place to start.

If you know someone who is struggling, please let them know about Support Act and their counselling helpline 1800 959 500. COVID crisis relief grants for artists, crew and music workers continue to be open for applications via Support Act.

Sales and production

Sales of digital products - digital sheet music and MP3s - through the AMC's website continue without disruption.

We have now regained limited access to our printing facilities, and sheet music orders are being processed on a 'first come, first served' basis. It might take longer than our usual 2-5 business days before we can post your sheet music order, but we are processing orders as soon as we can. Please note that there are some long delays beyond our control particularly with international mail.

All third-party supplier arrangements - website orders that are shipped directly from external CD or sheet music publishers to our customers - are currently active. This situation may change, and for overseas products long delays can be expected.

We will inform you promptly as new information comes available about any current orders. Meanwhile please email sales@australianmusiccentre.com.au about any questions or sales enquiries.

Library services

The AMC's Digital Library is a great asset at a time like this - it is available for members around the clock, seven days a week (watch a digiloan tutorial on Youtube). If you need your membership renewed, please email us on membership@australianmusiccentre.com.au

AMC's Library staff are available by email. In some cases we can also add new scores to the digital library - please send us email.

Membership services

Represented artists

AMC's Represented, Associate and Pedagogical artists are encouraged to make the most of the Contribute portal to submit their digital scores, mp3 files, work information and updated biographies. The AMC's staff will be available, over email, to advise and assist. It is a good time to catch up on lodging works! The start page has links to login instructions, FAQ and further tips and tricks.

Mail

Membership renewals documents and other correspondence will be sent over email.

Please note that with outgoing orders, there are some long delays beyond our control particularly with international mail. Please refer to the Australia Post website for latest domestic mail updates and international mail updates.
