Vote Music 2025: More Australian Music, Stronger Communities

The AMC are proud to be one of 19 music organisations banding together for the launch of Vote Music 2025, a national call to action urging all political parties to commit to a stronger future for Australian music. Vote Music 2025 advocates for a future that stronger communities and ensures more Australians hear great local music at home and around the world. The upcoming federal election is a critical moment for the future of Australian music. Vote Music 2025 aims to ensure that the next Parliament builds on recent successes and takes the next big step so that - much in line with our organisational vision - Australian music is heard, valued, and supported. Vote Music 2025 is non-partisan campaign developed to ensure all candidates, whether they are independent or from any political party, know that an investment in music has a profound impact on our cities and regions. Specifically, five key priorities of the campaign are to:
- Supercharge investment in music and industry growth
- Strengthen creative rights and innovation
- Amplify Australian music locally and globally
- Strengthen communities and audience growth
- Expand global exports and cultural diplomacy
