Nicole Brady : Associate Artist

Nicole Brady is a creative director and composer whose work spans interactive and immersive media, experiential branding, and contemporary chamber and orchestral music. Her work has garnered awards from the Peabody Awards and IndieCade.
Recent works include Ricochet for Flinders Quartet, commissioned through the 2024 Ascend Composers Commissioning Program and featuring in their 2026 concert season including Melbourne Recital Centre. Other works include Sognare: Vignettes I-IV for piano trio (Omega Ensemble, Sydney Opera House / Hear Now LA), Libretto at Six O'Clock for mezzo-soprano and amplified string quartet (Lyris Quartet), and Postlude for electronics, actor, amplified mixed ensemble (Omega Ensemble). Her immersive album Lost Palace, recorded with the RSNO, features Miles Mosley, Lydia Ainsworth, Mark Guiliana, and released on Bright Shiny Things, was featured across editorial playlists on Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.
She is the Founder and Creative Director of WLDR, a studio focused on multisensory and narrative spatial design. Her site-responsive works include Repast (an XR multisensory project developed through UKARIA Cultural Centre and ILA), presented at Spier Light Art Festival 2025 and Illuminate Adelaide 2023.
Graduate of The University of Melbourne (Director's Award for Exceptional Doctoral Research / Melbourne Research Scholarship), NYU (Elmer Bernstein Award / Brian May Scholar) and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (Winifred Elizabeth Neirous Award).
