Nicole Brady : Associate Artist

Nicole Brady is a composer and creative director working at the intersection of music, technology, and immersive design. Her work spans concert music, video games, film, and site-responsive installations, and has been recognised by the Peabody Awards and IndieCade.
Recent commissions include Ricochet for Flinders Quartet through the 2024 Ascend Composers Commissioning Program, and Qualifying, performed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Sognare: Vignettes I-IV was commissioned by Omega Ensemble for performance at the Sydney Opera House and later selected for the Hear Now LA contemporary music festival. Her string quartet Libretto at Six O'Clock was premiered by LA's Lyris Quartet at In Sheep's Clothing (2019).
Nicole composed and performed the piano concerto Neo Prefecture for We Are OFK, released on Sony Soundtracks. She was individually awarded a 2023 Peabody for her role as concerto composer, as part of the project's win for Best Immersive/Interactive Project. Her immersive album Lost Palace, recorded with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and released on Bright Shiny Things, was featured across editorial playlists on Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.
She is the Founder and Creative Director of WLDR, a studio focused on multisensory and narrative spatial design. Her site-responsive works include Repast (an XR multisensory project developed through UKARIA Cultural Centre and ILA), presented at Spier Light Art Festival 2025, where it was experienced by over 15,000 people, and at Illuminate Adelaide 2023.
Nicole is known for her work in anime and video games, with
original music featured in CyanEyed, Tekken
6, and We Are OFK,
amongst others.
