Join Timothy Young and pianists from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) as they perform in a program that includes Carl Vine’s Sonata for Four Hands. This work is played in five sections, without a break. Carl Vine says “using those two extra hands which, by playing on the same instrument, have a distinct advantage over their 'duo' brethren”. It is 'pure' music with no specific accompanying narrative or poetic allusion.
