"Great Romantics versus Harsh Modernism"
"Its my final ANAM recital and I'm really using the opportunity to challenge, yet charm my audience. Don Banks and Alfred Schnittke have an incredibly diverse and modern vocabulary that mixes fascinatingly with Beethoven's late music. I have included the movement of Rachmaninoff because, in my opinion, it is the most beautiful piece written for cello. Essentially, my recital is an absorbing exploration of beauty, modernism and fascinating musical language through some of the most amazing and ground breaking Cello Sonatas"
