Event Details
An audiovisual performance, fusing experimental opera, electroacoustic sound installation and expanded cinema. In his 1966 film 'Persona', Ingmar Bergman addressed the vampyric relationship between art and reality and questioned the idea of an authentic self. Fifty years on, Another Other presents a radical, layered re-reading of these themes, all the more relevant in today's age of online avatars and multiple-fragmented screen selves. Created and performed by Erkki Veltheim, Sabina Maselli, Natasha Anderson and Anthony Pateras with dramaturgical assistance by Jude Anderson, 'Another Other' lies somewhere between utopia, dystopia, tribute and critique.
