Art of Australian Song II

A recital of Australian art songs by nine composers. Four song cycles will be performed at this recital, including Diana Blom accompanying songs from her cycle, Remembering Babylon. Paul Morris will premiere Julian Yu's cycle, Silent and alone. Robert Mitchell performs Anne Boyd's cycle, At Telegraph Bay and Cathy Aggett and Rachel Tolmie will perform the rarely performed Five Songs of Happiness by John Antill. Songs by Elena Kats-Chernin, Esther Rofe, Alison Bauld and Dulcie Holland will also be performed.
