This September, our composer in focus is Arthur Benjamin - one of Australia's most influential and revered music figures. Join the Australia Ensemble @UNSW for a free lunch hour recital, featuring Benjamin's 'Pastoral Fantasy' string quartet alongside the 'Three Intermezzi' composed by Benjamin's teacher and mentor Charles Villiers Stanford. Rounding out the program are Berkeley's Sonatina for flute and piano, and Schumann's imaginative 'Fairy Tales' for clarinet, viola and piano.
