Event Details

This concert forms part of Australian Youth Orchestra's National Music Camp 2010.

Combine over 200 of Australia’s best and brightest young musicians, internationally-acclaimed conductors, and some of the finest musicians from both Australia and abroad as tutors, in an intensive, live-in environment; throw in a hearty dose of musical passion, a hefty handful of talent and a little bit of magic; mix it together with powerful and challenging repertoire, and you’ve got AYO National Music Camp.

It’s a place where new friendships begin, where old friends are reunited, and where lifelong professional contacts are made. AYO National Music Camp is your chance to completely immerse yourself in the world of music – to be surrounded by other like-minded individuals over two weeks of intense but rewarding rehearsals, tutorials, public performances and broadcast opportunities.

Featured non-Australian music: W. F. Bach, Wagner, Bartok
