Since winning the Piano Trio Prize and the Audience Choice Award at the Australian National Chamber Music Competition, Seraphim Trio has become one of Australia’s finest and most beloved ensembles. The trio collaborates regularly with Australia’s leading musicians, and maintains a robust commissioning program.
This concert continues the Festival’s celebration of 250 years since the birth of the great iconoclast Beethoven. The Seraphim Trio perform Beethoven’s monumental Piano Trio Op 97. The Archduke, paired with Richard Mills’ beautifully evocative Portraits & Memories.
