Event Details

Bel a cappella's final concert of 2019 is a presentation of choral music that reflects on and celebrates the mystery of Advent and Christmas. In this a cappella choir concert Imogen Holst’s unaccompanied Mass in A minor will feature alongside Benjamin Britten’s composition for unaccompanied voices – A Boy Was Born. There will also be beautiful works by Clare Maclean, Cheryl Frances-Hoad, Alice Chance and Eric Whitacre. The program celebrates a joyful range of works, all by talented young composers which span almost a century. Please join us for an extraordinary concert of amazing music, one that celebrates our 25th anniversary! We will be launching our 2020 concert season immediately afterwards.
