The Benauds (Lachlan Bramble, violin; Ewen Bramble, cello; Amir Farid, piano) are one of Melbourne's busiest young chamber ensembles, winners of the Piano Trio Prize at the 2005 Australian Chamber Music Competition and numerous other awards between them.
They are said to be united as much by their love for chamber music as Chinese food, Led Zeppelin and an eagerness to break out the cricket bat at any opportunity. In this performance, Beethoven's 'Ghost' Trio of 1809 is contrasted with a work by Matthew Hindson.
Featured non-Australian music: Beethoven
