The Sound of the Sexual Revolution
“Women hold up half the sky,” Mao Zedong is reported to have said. Award-winning Ensemble Offspring crashes through the glass ceiling with an all-female composer event, featuring music by this year’s Composer-in-Residence Chen Yi, Kaija Saariaho, Mary Finsterer and others.
