Father-daughter jazz duo Dick and Christa Hughes reinterpret classic blues songs from 1920's artists such as WC Handy, Bessie Smith, Memphis Slim, and Jelly Roll Morton. Christa Hughes is well known to Sydney audiences as a blues belter; Dick Hughes as the first solo jazz pianist to ever play at the Sydney Opera House. It's 21st Century Blues alright.
