Event Details

Famous for original and unexpected collaborations, Ensemble Offspring brings turntablist Martin Ng together with world-renowned Scottish accordionist James Crabb to create an evening of low and hi-fi blips beats and loops. Featuring Bernhard Lang, an Austrian composer taking Europe by storm, the group also welcomes  to our shores Matthew Wright and Cor Fuhler with their especially composed works. A foyer installation inspired by the godfather of loops, Steve Reich, welcomes you to this playful critique on a culture obsessed with repetition and beats and repetition and beats and repetition and beats…

Featured non-Australian music: Gavin Bryars, Bernhard Lang, Matthew Wright, Cor Fuhler, Michel van der Aa
