Ensemble Gombert and guest singers present the world premiere of Melbourne composer Vaughan McAlley’s 40-part motet Omnes angeli at the beautiful Dome at 333 Collins Street. Also on the program is Thomas Tallis’s 40-part motet Spem in alium, and Robert Carver’s 10-part Missa Dum sacrum mysterium. The 40-part pieces will be presented “in the round”, with performers surrounding the audience.
