Event Details

FRANKLIN is a project led by Australian composer and bassist, Joseph Franklin. Tonight’s iteration of the group features Sam Gill (saxophones), Joseph Lisk (trumpet), Ollie McGill (piano), Joseph Franklin (bass) and James Waples (drums). They will be performing works from the debut album Rites, which was released in 2018 and features Jamie Oehlers on saxophone, Ollie McGill on piano and Dave Beck on drums.

Franklin recently returned from New York where he composed, performed and recorded with Marc Hannaford on piano and Satoshi Takeishi on drums. The new album will be available in the coming months.
