From Near and Far - a Percussion Journey is an explosive evening of high-level percussion that will take the audience on a journey of music from Near and from Far. Featuring music from well known Australian composers and composers across the ditch, the audience will hear tales of how the music was created and stories from David Lockeridge's life as a percussionist.
The fast-paced energetic ride of repertoire will draw the audience into both a visual and audible experience. Featuring electronics ranging from ambient sounds to full-scale symphony orchestras, the concert features accessible music that is for everyone. This will be an evening the audience will never forget.
