Event Details

‘Harlequin’ proudly presents a new Brisbane Music Festival initiative, the premiere outing of a young artist program that here features rising star flautist Jemima Drews and music-theatre performer Laura Raineri. The virtuosity of Vine’s Sonata and Harty’s In Ireland is complemented by a selection of well-known jazz, music theatre and popular songs, punctuated by Amy Beth Kirsten’s curious work for vocalizing flautist that depicts the obsessive commedia dell’arte character, Harlequin.

All events are streamed on the Brisbane Music Festival homepage.  A private link to live-stream is provided to ticket purchasers on the morning of the performance.

Featured non-Australian music: Hamilton Harty, Jalacy Hawkins, Mancini, Porter, Sondheim, Jason Howland, Amy Beth Kirsten, Pasek & Paul, Leonard Cohen
