Event Details
Our Hatched Academy Composer Summer School features unique new artistic voices from around Australia, mentored by Artistic Director, Claire Edwardes alongside Melbourne-based composer Kate Neal, core Ensemble Offspring musicians and special guests.
In 2020 we have combined our Open Mic sessions with our Summer School so you are in for a real treat with two concerts in one week at East Sydney Community Arts Centre. On the Monday you will enjoy world premieres by Christopher Fox (London), original improvisations from Chloe Kim (drums) and Jacques Emery (bass), unique works for cello solo presented by Blair Harris and a duo by our ex-AD Damien Ricketson for clarinis!
