Event Details
Sick and tired of the stuffy confines of the classical music world, clarinet maverick Ed Ferris is on a mission to explore the very edges of clarinet music in an upcoming concert. Joined by Morna Hu (piano) and Stephanie Arnold (Cello), Ed takes his listeners on a globe-hopping journey, spanning continents and musical styles. From Australian birdsong to cuban rhythms, Argentinian tango, klezmer and Russian blues.
Featured non-Australian music: Astor Piazzolla, Bela Kovacs, Paul Reade, Paquito D'Rivera, Eugene Bozza
