Alan Griffiths' debut solo art piano album, 'Introspection' is to have its Shepparton debut recital, performed by the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Nicholas Young. Introspection has received glowing reviews including:
"… Reverie I, II and III, three works interspersed in the program, were outstanding examples of the great compositional balance of virtuosity, simplicity, fragility and drama that Griffiths achieves in Introspection. This is not an easy task for solo piano music…" July, Cut | Common Magazine.

Young's accolades include: Fellow of the Australia National Academy of Music in 2017. In 2016 he won Australia’s two most prestigious piano scholarships; The Alison/Henderson Sydney Eisteddford Scholarship and The Michael Kieren Harvey Piano Scholarship. In 2015 Young won: 1st Prize and Best Beethoven Performance of the ‘Grand Prize Virtuoso’ International Music Competition (London), 3rd Prize of the 15th Rome International Piano Competition, was Finalist and Honourable Mention at the 7th International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition (Rome), and received an Honourable Mention at the 1st International Cochran Piano Competition (Poland).
