Alan Griffiths' debut solo art piano album, 'Introspection' is to have its Shepparton debut recital, performed by the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Nicholas Young. Introspection has received glowing reviews including:
"… Reverie I, II and III, three works interspersed in the program, were outstanding examples of the great compositional balance of virtuosity, simplicity, fragility and drama that Griffiths achieves in Introspection. This is not an easy task for solo piano music…" July, Cut | Common Magazine.
Young's accolades include: Fellow of the Australia National Academy of Music in 2017. In 2016 he won Australia’s two most prestigious piano scholarships; The Alison/Henderson Sydney Eisteddford Scholarship and The Michael Kieren Harvey Piano Scholarship.
