SHAMIN is an experimental jazz duo comprised of Sophie Min on keys and Benjamin Shannon on drums, established in 2018. This duo seeks a juxtaposition in their improvisational practices and creative aspect, which expands rhythmic division, stretching the original form to new spectrum and broadening the atmosphere of their energetic live performance. SHAMIN released their debut album ‘Fine Gnaw’ in April 2019 on Supersonic Label and have performed at Jazzlab, Bohemian Grove, Banshees Bar, JMI, Junk Bar, Bearded Lady, Common House and Black Bear Lodge.
