Brisbane-based new music ensemble Kupka’s Piano aims to entice audiences into hearing new sounds, new musical ideas, and new structures while focusing on the latest music from around Australia. The ensemble of QCGU alumni is proud to return to the Conservatorium to present a concert of new and recent works by Australian composers, soon to be recorded by ABC Classic FM. World
Premieres by Australian composers Holly Harrison, Samuel Smith, Lisa Illean and Jakob Bragg and recent works by Hannah Reardon-Smith, Liam Flenady, and Samantha Wolf will explore the sound worlds of the mixed chamber ensemble.
