Tuesday 19th March 2013 10.30am to 12.30pm, Orchestra Hall, Faculty of Music, UiTM, Seksyen 17 Performance Forum Presentation by Borealis Brass: “The Performer as a Vehicle of Cultural Outreach” 2pm to 4pm, Angsana Hall, Faculty of Education, UiTM, Seksyen 17 Music Education Forum Presentation by Borealis Brass: “Contemporary Theories and Practices in Secondary Music Education: Some Canadian and US Perspectives” 4.45pm to 6.45pm, Orchestra Hall, UiTM, Seksyen 17 Associate Professor Dr. Karen Gustafson (trumpet player, Borealis Brass) conducts the Brass Ensembles of the Faculty of Music.

Performers: Borealis Brass of the University of Alaska Fairbanks with UiTM Faculty of Music Students
Featured non-Australian music: Music by New Zealand composer Ross Carey, alongside music from the US and Europe
