A chance meeting of two fine Australian musicians in Poland, 2018 brought about a perfect synergy. Maryanne Piper and Gabriella Smart joined forces to create Lilith Night: their project promoting women composers across contemporary music genres.

The duo brings audiences a concert experience featuring works by established as well as emerging female composers. Traversing both composition and improvisation realms, Lilith Night is an international celebration of women music makers, bringing light to female creative achievement in today's world. Performances in Australia & Europe in 2019.

A programme showcasing a selection of music by composers such as: Elena Kats-Chernin (Australia), Christina Fuchs (Germany), Issie Barratt (UK), Nicole Murphy (Australia), Alison Isadora (New Zealand / The Netherlands), Leah Blankendaal (Australia), Dobrinka Tabakova (Bulgaria / UK), Keyna Wilkins (Australia), Ann Southam (Canada), Reena Esmail (India / USA), Eve Beglarian (USA), Sandy Evans (Australia) among others.
