Event Details
Founded and lead by Andrea Keller as part of her ongoing Monday night residency at the Jazzlab, the Composers Circle has performed on a monthly basis there since July 2017.
Featuring Angela Davis (alto saxophone), Carl Mackey (tenor saxophone), James Macaulay (trombone), Andrea Keller (piano), Sam Anning (double bass) & James McLean (drums), the sextet performs compositions by all members, often featuring world premiers, material written specifically for the ensemble, and re-imaginings of extant works.
This performance for the MWIJF will constitute a live recording with the view to a commercial release in 2019.
