Composed in 1941 while Messiaen was in a prisoner-of-war camp, the Quartet for the End of Time is a musical expression of hope and mysticism. Evocative music of JS Bach and David Banney set the mood in this concert by Festival Artists-in-Residence, the highly acclaimed Omega Ensemble.
