Experienced pianist/composer Tony Gould’s prolific CD output has continued with the duo album River Story (on the Move label) with the technically prodigious younger guitarist Peter Petrucci (who already has two trio albums of his own). A superb duo player, Gould has recorded often in this format over the last two decades (with cornetist Keith Hounslow as McJad, with saxophonists Brian Brown and Rob Burke,and with pianist Bob Sedergreen).
