Event Details
The Marianne Rothschild (violin) and Glenn Riddle (piano) duo have been performing and recording together and commissioning new works for over a decade both locally and internationally.
This recital explores music in a variety of musical styles composed especially for them by Melbourne composers Linda Kouvaras, Stuart Greenbaum and William James Schmidt from their recently-released CD The Sky is Melting.
This concert features the ‘Bundanon’ Sonata, a work inspired by the Arthur Boyd estate of Bundanon, bequeathed to the nation and now an artists’ retreat situated on the picturesque Shoalhaven River.
