Join us for an afternoon of music in support of the SCEGGS Darlinghurst OGU Scholarship Fund. Composer and pianist Dr Aristea Mellos (Class of 2005) has curated a portrait recital that celebrates the power of art song.
Featuring special guests soprano Helen Zhibing Huang (Deutsche Oper Berlin) and pianist Ada Arumeh Kim Lowery (New York), the recital explores texts by poets CP Cavafy, Frank O’Hara, Emily Kendal Frey and more in sumptuous settings for soprano, piano, cello, and flute.
