Devised and led by Andrea Keller, Still Night: Music in Poetry is an exquisite meditation on death, grief and loss. Like so many such meditations on mortality it is, paradoxically, a deeply life affirming work. Its textures, so exquisitely wrought by some of Australia’s finest musicians, evoke the most tender and honest connections between humans – vital, surging expressions of love and empathy. In hand picking such musicians, Andrea Keller has found artists who honour not only the notes, but the space between them too. This is music that, because of Andrea’s own shining humanity and generosity, will open your heart.
