This special event will feature the world premiere performance of Con alumna Elena Kats-Chernin's Macquarie's Castle: Saxophone Concerto, to be performed by Dr Michael Duke, the Con's Senior Lecturer in Saxophone. This work was commissioned by the Con through a generous donation from Mr Kim Williams AM to celebrate our 100th anniversary. The SCM Orchestra will also be performing Professor Matthew Hindson's Marathon and Bruckner's Symphony No. 4.
