ARIA award-winning performer, composer and didjeridu player William Barton joins the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to perform Peter Sculthorpe’s Beethoven Variations for didjeridu and orchestra and Barton’s own Birdsong at Dusk.
Contrasted with pieces by Beethoven and poetry and prose readings by Anita Heiss, this is an evening of classical music and the sounds of contemporary Indigenous Australia.
