Event Details
We are delighted to kick off our 2015 season with a dynamic all Australian program as part of the Brunswick Beethoven Festival. The program features Brett Dean's moving sextet "Old Kings in Exile" that evokes a plea for the continuity of memory, Gordon Kerry's "Making Signs" inspired by the subject grammar as "the art of inventing and combining symbols" and Annie Hsieh's searching cyclic exploration of process and personal growth in the Quartet "Towards the beginning".
Luke Hutton is an emerging composer in the Melbourne music scene who has recently completed undergraduate studies in composition at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music under Elliot Gyger, Stuart Greenbaum, Katy Abbott and Julian Yu.
