Les Souffles d'Éole invite you on a musical journey where mythological winds, storms and breezes shape the soundscapes.
From Purcell to Rameau, from Handel's enchantments to Gluck's celestial harmonies, each page summons natural forces and human emotions. Alongside the choir of the Autumn Symphonies, the Sinfonia Lumina ensemble unfolds in turn fury, grace, and brilliance. Contemporary works by John Williams and Marián Budos extend this dialogue between breath, movement, and imagination. A vibrant journey into the very heart of the spirit of the wind.
A French-Australian guitarist with an international career, Ingrid Riollot is distinguished by the finesse and poetic intensity of her playing. Invited to perform on five continents, she enjoys a remarkable career as a soloist and chamber musician, while also teaching and lecturing at numerous universities. Her rich and varied discography testifies to her ever-renewed artistic curiosity.
Alongside Ingrid Riollot, Sinfonia Lumina, conducted by David Hurpeau, asserts a luminous identity where Baroque, opera, and contemporary creation meet in an inventive approach to the concert. The Opera Choir of the Autumn Symphonies and the Edgar Varèse Conservatory, directed by Nicolas Parisot, brings together experienced singers and advanced students, and participates in the major operatic productions of the Autumn Symphonies Festival in Mâcon .
