The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) return on March 8 to perform the first concert in their popular MET SERIES for 2014. Now in their sixth season of performance, TMO will perform four MET CONCERTS throughout the 2014 season. “We’re very excited to be performing all four of our MET CONCERTS at Eugene Goossens hall this year with fantastic programs featuring some of my favourite symphonies and concertos and showcasing wonderful Australian soloists. I can’t wait to get started on another sensational year of music with TMO,” said Sarah-Grace Williams, TMO Artistic Director and Chief Conductor.
MET Concert one will feature Mozart’s Symphony number 31 (Paris) and Schumann’s Symphony number 3 (Rhenish), plus Vine’s intriguing Pipe Dreams concerto for Flute and Orchestra which will feature TMO’s very own Principal Flute, Svetlana Yaroslavskaya.
