Rebecca Gill makes a welcome return to her home town, in a recital premiering works of fellow Novocastrian, composer Chris Williams who recently graduated from Oxford University, with a Masters of Philosophy in Composition. Rebecca Gill is a former resident of Newcastle who completed her Bachelor of Music Performance with first class honours in 2009, and the Masters of Music Performance (Research) in 2013, both at Sydney Conservatorium. Rebecca is the 2015 Stefan Kruger Scholarship Recipient. Rebecca is a member of Sydney Symphony’s Fellowship Program, and performs as guest leader of many Sydney based ensembles. Paul Cheung enjoys a busy schedule of accompanying and solo recitals. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium, where he studied with Tamara Anna Cislowska and David Miller AM, Paul has won numerous prizes and scholarships, including second prize in the 2MBS Young Performers Award, and has performed in prestigious venues including the Utzon Room and the Concert Hall of the Sudney Opera House.
