Melbourne pianist and composer Andrew Harrison announces the launch of his latest EP 'Time is Truth', a deeply personal jazz vocal suite commissioned in 2022 and recorded at ABC Southbank in 2023. The launch event will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 3 PM at Cross Street Music Hall in Brunswick East, Melbourne. 'Time is Truth' marks a significant artistic achievement for Harrison, who crafted this suite as a musical celebration of a 20-year relationship milestone. The work weaves together contemporary jazz arrangements and intimate vocal performances, creating a modernistic sound that also includes reflective and humorous elements of storytelling. "Time Is Truth’ represents not just the passage of time, but its ability to reveal deeper truths about love and commitment," says Harrison. "I sought to capture different aspects, and the unexpected twists and turns of a two-decade journey shared between two people."
