Respected pianist/composer Tony Gould is one of the most 'formally' recognised figures to work in the Australian jazz scene. Appointed to the position of Professor of Music at Monash University in 2012, he was a recipient of the 2011 Australian Jazz ‘Bell’ Award in the Qantas Hall of Fame category. This award follows a two-year $80,000 Australia Council Fellowship over 2006/7, and a $60,000 Don Banks Fellowship in 2009. To mark his recent birthday, he is joined by some of his favourite colleagues including Imogen Manins (cello), Frank Di Sario (acoustic bass), Joe Batrouney (drums), and Rob Burke (tenor saxophone) in a series of duos, trios and solos.
