Event Details
Opposites attract in this oddball yet brilliant musical journey. Brace yourselves as the musically macabre Kransky Sisters tweak and twist our favourite band, Topology, in ways they’ve never been tweaked and twisted before. When Topology needed a tuba player for their upcoming Brisbane Powerhouse concert, they invited the Kransky Sisters’ strangely reclusive sibling, Dawn Kransky, to play. Dawn will take leave from her job as trolley librarian at the Esk hospital to play with the quintet. Dawn’s older sisters, Mourne and Eve, insist on driving her down from Esk in the Morris to chaperone, resulting in a comically oddball new music venture. The two ensembles fight for centre stage, until they “accidentally” join together to perform a spontaneously selected mix of familiar tunes which have been given very special treatment.
