Event Details

The International Saxophone Symposium, hosted by the United States Navy Band, is held each year in early January. The two-day event, first hosted by the Navy Band in 1978, features a mix of performances, masterclasses and lectures designed for musicians of all ages.

Jeffery Kyle Hutchins is a performer making experimental music and art.He is an interpreter, improviser, curator, educator, artist, and arts administrator.He often produces sound wielding a saxophone, his voice, technology, and spare gadgets.Hutchins is Artist/Teacher of Saxophone at Virginia Tech.
