Event Details
Sydney composer and trumpeter Eamon Dilworth (Tijuana Cartel, Ed Kuepper, Low Down Riders) presents new ensemble and album, Viata. Inspired by a journey through Romania, viata means ‘life’ in Romanian. Best known for his previous albums with The Dilworths, Eamon has also performed with Dale Barlow, James Muller, The Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra, Nigel Kennedy, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and Asgier, and toured Europe three times with Caravana Sun.
Viata brings together highly regarded improvisers and composers Alister Spence, Jonathan Zwartz, Carl Morgan and Paul Derricott, and forms a pensive soundtrack capturing the mood of Eamon's Romanian wandering.

Special Support: KATE WADEY TRIO
Kate Wadey is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in Australian jazz. Her recently released 2018 album, A Hundred Years from Today, is an excellent introduction to the charm and sophistication which has already won her so many fans. Expect highly assured, fine, characterful and swinging jazz fare.
