Event Details

This concert is a post lockdown celebration of the audaciousness, urbanity, sophistication and energy of the 20th century, through original works, such as American Spirit (a musical conjuring of Mark Twain, Scott Fitzgerald, Skyscrapers, Tom & Jerry, Appalachia, coupled with tributes to its iconoclastic musicians - Miles Davis, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland et al), and reimaginings of two beloved Gershwin songs from Porgy and Bess.
