The Waltz Book consists of 60 minute-long pieces, some of which are technically virtuosic. In fact part of the structure of the hour-long piece is that very easy pieces rub shoulders with very difficult ones. This volume and its companion ('10 MORE Easy Waltzes . . .') make available the simpler pieces. As with The Waltz Book iself, players are free to make their own selections and find their own order.
Includes: No. 1. Invocation 1 ; No. 5. Waltz for Jasper ; No. 14. Life in a shell ; No. 16. Waltz for Cathy ; No. 17. Blue waltz ; No. 31. It's dark in Helsinki ; No. 36. Waltzing alone ; No. 39. Whole world waltz ; No. 49. Aubade ; No. 50. Waltz for Alice.
