This ten minute work attempts to reflect various states of mind triggered in particular by the recent death of the last of my five siblings, 91 year old Bob. Its tone, though sombre for the most part, does have moments of relief of sorts, but never able to sustain for long before the obsessive harmonies of the opening keep returning and finally bring it to a conclusion.
It is dedicated to the memory of my five siblings.
