Product details
And the world was finally right (the title taken from the last line of the poem) attempts to take the listener on a journey. Inspired by the poem 'A Brief History of Love' by Jordie Albiston, the work takes you through the creation of the universe and how love is its parallel - of something new coming into being; two separate forces becoming one. In this case, the orchestra and the choir are the separate forces, weaving between each other with layering textures. Vocal free flowing sections with drone like harmonies try to capture an eerie space-like atmosphere throughout the work. Strong unison figures try to capture a rhythmic pulse of the heartbeat as the work progresses.
