Sheet Music: ScoreChildren's songs : piano solo / Mark Isaacs.by Mark Isaacs (2011)

Product details
At the end of 2011 Mark Isaacs composed a suite of solo piano music called Children's Songs in order to perform the world premiere of them at the 2012 Adelaide Festival on March 5 as the opening recital in Festival @ Lunch series at Elder Hall.
The suite of eighteen cameos consists of music inspired by children and childhood, rather than being music necessarily intended for children.
Following somewhat the lead of Robert Schumann in his Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood) the pieces evoke in turn the transparency, playfulness, tenderness, innocence, wistfulness and humour associated with our smaller ones.
