This short orchestral suite of approximately ten minutes in duration results from the extraction of the Prelude, Interlude I, Interlude II, and Postlude from "The Nature of War - nine reflections on human conflict".

It can be performed independently from The Nature of War as a stand-alone work in this edited version done by Simon Reade.
